CION - IT CAME FROM THE NORTH TIFF PROMO

Working with the great team at CION, and with the aim of promoting Northern Ontario as a fantastic place for film production at the 2022 TIFF festival and beyond, we developed a vintage styled movie poster to set the tone, and quirky map to highlight key centres and their respective amenities. Using a 20"x26" format, a folded and double sided poster/map print piece was produced and handed out at the festival. We also developed an interactive microsite accessed using QR codes on the printed map to provide more location specific details.

A collection of vintage fresnel lights, stands and other photo equipment was photographed in studio and digitally composited to "build" the robot. We also engaged some local talent to run for their lives - or at least try to look the part.
