T.O.O.K., or The Only on King, was (unfortunate past tense) a happening little restaurant that garnered international attention. After running it as a dinner-only operation for many years, the owner decided it was time to spend more time with his young family. This meant rethinking the whole business model and ultimately to the decision to pare back the menu and offer up lunch options as well as coffee and pastries. I was tasked with revamping an established and trusted identity. The only unwavering parameter was that the Bruce the duck needed to carry over from the previous logo.
